Suzette Born was punctual for our first meeting, looked at our home made suggestions and referrals for work and repairs needed to put our house on the market. She brought some samples of her work walked us through what she does. She also brought a report of comps in the area to show what the market was doing. Our first impression of her was very positive, she represented herself with a high degree of professionalism, experience, warmth and charm. Once we selected her as our agent and the house was ready she moved quickly and efficiently to advertise our home and put it on the market. The pictures and ads were great ,and the data she collected on local sales helped us set a very accurate price for the property. Our home received mutiple bids and within a few weeks we had a solid workable offer. Suzette then walked us carefully through all the inspection processes and paper work signing. I had a townhome to sell that belonged to a sibling who passed away. From the first time I met Suzette to show her the townhome until the closing of escrow, it was pleasure working with her. She set up my personalized MLS wants and anytime a house was listed within my criteria, it was added to my list and an email generated. It was very easy for me to search through and let her know which houses I wanted to see. I'd say we saw at least 150 houses and wrote 25+ offers.
The house I bought was bank owned and demanded a 30 day escrow. Suzette made that happen. She had to basically do all the duties of both the buying and selling parties as the bank and it's agent did nothing. She found the place to fix a broken window, have termite done and get my funding taken care of. She personally drove the papers to the Title company and asked, begged or demanded, which ever, they be recorded that day as it was the final day of escrow. She was amazing!!

Suzette listed my townhome as a short sale back in Oct 2009. Suzette fought a tough battle through all of the banks red tape and policy changes throughout the process. Even when the tough got going and there seemed to be no end in sight, Suzette was relentless in her efforts. Suzette was always on top of things. She always kept me in the loop with details via e-mail, text, and phone calls. She was quick to forward me any documents that needed to be signed. We were always ahead of the game. Even though the short sale process (in my particular situation) was grueling, Suzette kept pushing through. On two separate occasions, my lender was unable to close a deal because of their incompetence. Finally, after 23 months and Suzettes' persistence, we were able to complete the short sale and close a deal! Just so you know, my listing took so long to sell because of the banks inability to process quickly, NOT due to any fault of Suzettes. I would definitely work with Suzette in the future and I highly recommend her services to anyone seeking a hard working, professional, and friendly agent! Very easy to work and get along with! She is awesome. I'm actually working with her again. We used another agent from another agency that only wanted to show us three or four houses. He wanted to pressure us into signing for one so he wouldn't have to do any more work. You would expect an agent to do a little bit of work for their commission. The agent from The Born Solution showed us about a hundred different houses, and she didn't put pressure on us. She compared them all and helped us to make the right choice. She really earned her commission and did a good job. She is honest, fair, responsible, and organized. She will bring a sheet with all of the information for the property. She responds right away. You can't get a better real estate agent than Suzette. She has done the same quality job for another purchase that didn't involve as large of a commission. She was the best agent I've ever had. I met Suzette as a first time home buyer. I had been working with another agent previously. The original agent would only show 1 to 2 houses every couple of weeks and then pressure me to buy one so he wouldn't have to do any more showings. The houses he showed me were generally way out of my price range and I would have never been approved for a loan even if I made an offer. The first thing Suzette did was evaluate my income, credit and available down payment so that we could determine what the bank would approve me for. This limited the houses we needed to see because we knew what price range would be feasible. Suzette set-up appointments every weekend for months and showed 5-10 houses for every appointment. She arranged the showings in the same vicinity for each weekend so that we could quickly go from house to house. This process allowed me to get a feel for the market/prices and the types of homes available so that when I made a decision to offer I was confident of the price I was offering based on the many houses I had looked at.
Suzette did background research on each house before showing it and eliminated those deals/situations that were unlikely to be workable for me as a buyer (complicated short sales, foreclosures that would be difficult to finance through FHA or with unworkable terms) early on in the process. She was sensitive to our emotions as first time buyers while also maintaining a pragmatic businesslike style that prevented us from wasting time. She was always willing to research and show any property we found on the MLS.
She followed through at every step in escrow by working on a daily basis with the lender and seller to ensure everything went though with the fewest delays. She is extremely organized and managed the entire transaction from beginning to end without missing anything.
Even after the close of escrow she helped us to work with the homeowners insurance company to get vendors for certain repairs and make sure there would not be anything that would result in an ultimate policy rejection and lack of insurance.
She showed us over 200 houses without complaining. She let us decide when to make offers and never forced us into anything or put any pressure on us. She wanted us to be happy with the house we ended up with and was willing to take the time to help us get to the final purchase.
I could not recommend her enough. Relative to the first agent it was a totally different experience. There are some agents out there that give the industry a bad name. Suzette is not one of them. If all of the agents were as dedicated and decent as Suzette buying a home would be a much easier experience for everybody. You won't go wrong with this agent. I found her by chance. I just got lucky. I will definitely use her if I buy or sell real estate in the future.

I had a very limited amount of time (1 week), a pretty limited budget, and somehow, Suzette managed to find me a GREAT condo to rent out that was BELOW the budget I set. Not only was the pricing beyond fair, I also got to live there for the first month for free. It definitely does not get any better than that.
She gave me a bunch of options to sort through and really helped me with the whole process.
If you're looking for a real estate agent who's detail oriented, diligent, timely, and seriously takes into account your personal preferences, then it doesn't get any better than Suzette.
